Not sure I get that. "PL" is not mint-dependent, in the same sense that you might make allowances for a weak New Orleans strike, and these aren't uncommon with the designation. Going with my gut, I don't think the reverse of this coin would make PL. I'd be pleased to be proven wrong.

San Fran is notoriously known for their excellent strikes, especially on the morgans. The services are usually harder on going with a PL on them....

Looks to me like an easy MS64PL. I love the crisp strike on these!

Like I said my photography skills doesn't do this coin justice.....I think it's borderline PL which is what drew me to it. I believe I am going to replace my current type coin for this one.

After thinking about that, I'll buy it. Nicely done, although I choose to apply a single standard as regards reflectivity, myself. Does it not, though, illustrate just_how_hard it is to grade Morgans? There are too many, and too many variables in strike, to apply generic standards. We could both be right.
