@ CanadianCoins1999:
Where it is (2013) on a pre-sale, can you share please?
Managed to get something similar and not less beautiful by Papua New Guinea (Spiny Anteater), and would like to add some Mongolian beauty to mine Hedgehog.
Added: Found it on powercoin.it It is "Argali sheep" coin, IMO less impressive than previous 3 coins, priced EUR 349.00, limit one per customer. Nice coin, but will pass on it. Red Squirrel (Palau) more interesting.

Which other Mint government coins are highly sought after? Can you tell me what are a "must have" coins from the US Mint? I wish to get into it, as I have nothing from them. Do they have lots to choose from like the RCM? Does anyone here buy from the US Mint? Is this their website? http://usmint.gov

@CanadianCoins1999: where did you get that price? I was about to order one, but then realize 349 euro = 467 CAD = 471 USD plus shipping...
@poboxw: are you gonna buy one "Argali sheep" to complete the set?

@beautyisgod: i bought mine (2 owls, my folks wrestled the other away) for $125-150 each, so issue price as to be that or lower. Had to go to the ebay for them. And I'm not a big fan of US mint commemorative coins so can't help you there. @Silverbug: nah~ it's not as if I have any other of the Mongolian silvers anyways, and I'm happy enough with the owl representing Mongolia in my 'round the world collection

@Silverbug Sorry for the mistake, it was about 300 euro when it first came out on powercoins, but then I realized the price jumped by 50 Euro.

Thanks for URL, CanadianCoins1999
Regarding Mongolian series: were minted by Germany Mint (if I am not misstaken), 2 first coins - 2007 Gulo Gulo and 2010 Ural Owl were available initially for near issue price ($69-$129), and it took long time to Gulo Gulo accumulate it's current price.
The "big jump" was, when Gulo Gulo won the COTY Award, and 3-rd coin issued - 2012 Hedgehog. The Hedgehog's pre-sale price was ~EUR 149, and then jumped to $400-$500.
Missed Gulo Gulo, was aware about Owl, but at that time wasn't interested, and bought "Hedgehog" - never seen before Hedgehog on the coin, and already began with "all-over the world" collection. The Hedgehog's design, I believe, repeats design of Australia 5 cent, with Echidna on all the coin's surface.
Added: Finally decided not to buy 2013 coin from this series...as Poboxw mentioned, one representative is enough, except this IMO the new one isn't beatiful as previous 3.
