wow I wont even ask how much you put into that collection, some of these coins remind me of why I enjoyed this hobby so much as a kid. It started with my grandpa giving me an Indian Head penny and a Buffalo nickel. my collection got lost but this is why I did it, anyone who looks at these coins and cant say those are beautiful are liers.

Finally got a chance to look at this! IMO, the sticker on your '41-D DDO / DDR Merc should be GOLD! Maybe they don't want to create a scarce grade for the variety, but MS66FB is PAR for Denver dimes from 38-45, and yours certainly matches the condition of the MS66FB dimes in my collection (unless the luster is blinding me to some flaws I can't see). I also think your steel cent could be under-graded. Have you made a particular effort to pick out under-graded examples for this set? I like how you've gone with varieties for some of the easier slots, like the Merc and the 1995 DDO.

Quote: Have you made a particular effort to pick out under-graded examples for this set? No, not intentionally, the coin comes first, although slabbed version are a requirement.

Birth year set is very nice! You're about 20 years older than me and as old as my mother.

That was fun! I looked forward to showing off my collection on a daily basis. I want to thank all of those who stopped by to take a look at my collection, as it is today. I plan on making upgrades in the future. My next thread will cover my Morgan Dollar Mint Mark Collection - VAM Style. https://goccf.com/t/148225I have put a couple of my coins that I upgraded from in the Buy It Now section. Till then, see you in the funny papers!

Very nice collection. Are you planning on adding the other 2 types of 3 cent silver, no stars Seated half dime and dime, National Parks Quarter, and the Seated arrow coins from 1873-19874?

J.J. not at this time, but that does pose some opportunites for the future. Except the Lincoln Centenials & Shields, post-2000 Jeffersons and the Nat'l Parks, not really digging those.
