Like many others, I have been waiting for premiums to settle down (and for stocks to be replenished) before making any major purchases, especially since I already made some significant purchases in the days and weeks leading up to the "Big Dip."

I can't resist scratching the itch entirely, however...

When gold was at its absolute lowest, I picked up a 100-gram PAMP Suisse gold bar at $23.99 per ounce over spot. Since then I have purchased a single 1-ounce silver Fiji Taku, a single 1-ounce Perth Mint Silver Kangaroo ("Opal" Series) and 10 1-ounce Chinese Silver Pandas. I also picked up 8 Morgan dollars, eight 1965 Kennedy half dollars and one 1963 Franklin half dollar at a flea market. It's a sickness, I tells ya! A sickness!

Went to the monthly local coin show yesterday, unrealistically hoping to find some old 1oz silver art bars to paw through. I figured when the going gets
tough, maybe the least sought-after class of silver bullion might still be around. HA! The joke was on me. Out of 55+ dealers filling up 85+ tables, there
were TWO old 1oz silver art bars. I bought the unique one (25th anniversary of the state of Israel) and left the humdrum one (Xmas) there, so I can
honestly say I bought up half of all the old 1oz silver art bars at the entire show.

Just received my order of 5 5oz Libertads , nice enough but I think I like my 5 oz Fiji Taku's better.

Someone asked, so I just just got in my silvertowne purchases (Like a month later :/), which was the 2013 Britannia and the 1 ounce Silvertowne bar.

I don't know if I have the single nicest Britannia out there, but after a quick inspection it looks almost perfect. There's no nicks around the rim, and the reverse is spotless. The obverse has one tiny nick on it, but other than that I'm quite happy with it considering the horror stories I've heard. If I can get my camera working I'll try to put up some pics of it.

Just received the 2013 silver bullion Lunar Britannia. Against all odds, this one and the regular 2013 one I got in January
are both perfect -- no damage of any kind. I managed to dodge the Britannia damage bullet both times this year.

When will the sellers on ebay hear about this silver price "crash"? I'm still seeing laughable "buy it now" prices on the stuff I'm looking at.

I have taken this opportunity to pick up some countries that I did not have because of the higher prices of silver comm. coins. Increased my collection by a few countries at least.

Ordered some stuff from the US Mint: 2013 ASE 2-Coin "W" Set, and the 2013 ASE Proof Coin.

And, next week I'll probably order the newly released 2013 America The Beautiful 5oz. Collector's Edition coin.

Got a Columbian Exposition half dollar yesterday for a little over spot. Likely cleaned AU details but it looks nice and I couldn't say no.
