This is probably my favorite, partly because I find it to be a handsome example of a classic, but mainly because it belonged to my mom and to her mom before her. I can't imagine selling it.

Here's the first coin I ever bought and still my best Morgan. Look what I paid for this in the early 90s. Hard to see but I think this one would grade MS-65, but oh so common.

Rick

I love this one. I need to take some better photos now that I have a better setup.

I've seen 4 or 5 with the same die break on the reverse, but this one is so sharp on the 2 that it has a raised rim all the way around the number as do most of the letters in UNINTED STATES. The D in UNINTED has the missing top serif is seen on lots of 2 Cent pieces.

The WE is always the first thing to go, but IN GOD and TRUST looks to have been filled with grease as was the weak last A in AMERICA.

You can't see it in these photos, but the coin has lots of die cracks around the ribbon knot on the reverse.

It's a great coin to study.

Hard to narrow it down to one favorite so I'll do 2:
The Nazi-occupied Serbia 500 Dinara from 1942 (this is the favorite of a lot I was given by my grandparents who were living in the occupied territory)
Post-Your-Favorite-Coin-In-Your-Collection!
and the Russian 1 Chervontz from 1926 (rarest one I have)

Mine is my avatar, 1879-S NGC MS64PL. Nothing prettier than a toned Morgan with frosty devices!

My favorite coins, at this time anyway, are the WWII Canadian nickels . especially the 1945 steel version.

I love this design and to have it on a proof is really special. It's the first time Pistrucci's St George and the Dragon design has been on a silver coin for over 100 years.

The Royal Mint made 10,000 and they sold out within 5 days.

When I buy a bunch of coins, I leave the best out for a little bit to admire them. Some of them stay out for a couple of days.

It has been three weeks, and for some reason I don't want to file this one away...
