15-21 days is generous. I am betting you don't hear back about grades until right near Christmas or the week before. It's business days, so weekends don't count, then any holidays, and then they're usually behind by a day or two... Did you crack it out and send it raw, or send it slabbed for a cross?
Not a huge Metallica fan, but they're in my regular mix, and like the song, lol.

Also my 1880 S morgan I cracked out of the NGC, was graded as MS 66, PCGS gave it an MS 66+ well worth sending them in! and the really great one, I bought a Raw 1941D Half, it was graded MS 64 by the guy who sold it, it came back as MS 66!
great submittal overall!
The grades just got posted to my account, I expect them to ship today or tomorrow

Nice work on the crackouts and the raw pick. Buying raw coins is very profitable if you can find good sources.

are you suggesting sending it to CAC instead of cracking out for regrade? I know very little about CAC but do see the coins typically get higher prices on ebay etc mlgdave

Cheek is the problem...that's pretty much the first thing that will catch their eye.

If you don't mind me asking what did you give for the 41-D half? I have seen some good uncirculated Walkers at a local coin shop and am thinking of picking up a few.

Congrats on the grades! That is an amazingly quick turn-around at PCGS. A sign that business is slow these days. :(
Please post some pics when they arrive home.

I paid $65.00 for the 1941-D half. It was in a mylar flip and had been graded by the previous coin shop as MS64, looks like on ebay MS66 goes for around $175. Pretty good in my books! mlgdave
