This is a $1,000 bag.

Maybe with several coins out ... I just cannot remember perfectly.

You are 100% correct.

I think I mislabeled the thread..

Threads are short in nature

What I was trying to convey, was anyone interested in seeing-looking at a bag ... and what may be found in one.

Many folks out there have never seen one.

Please do not think I was trying to SELL a any thing today.

I only have 72 days to wait.

And thank you for the reminder.

That was a reminder for everyone. I didn't want anyone to make offers.

Thats a nice bag. You will have to let us know the break down of what is inside. I cannot imagine how heavy that thing is.

(Thats a nice bag. You will have to let us know the break down of what is inside. I cannot imagine how heavy that thing is.)

This bag was about 7-8 weeks ago, and the break down is un-tracked by individual bags.
I do track the raw AG as a ratio of coins acquired. 1 AG to every 375 coins.

Bags weigh (approx) 50 pounds.

When I get a bag ... I do not count coins ... I weigh them.
My experience on weighing is (to date) from 2 oz over to 1 oz under.

Please don't come down on me too hard over counting vs weighing.
My only defense is, Counting is not worth it to me.

And with the nature of the recourse ... you don't have one
Any way I do not want to bite the hand of the source providing the bags.

Do you end up keeping all of these, or do you take the left-overs back? If you take them back, how do the tellers react? If I were to get a bag at face, I would sell the left overs in rolls on ebay. It would take time, but I'd make some money. WAIT. . . . . I wouldn't sell them! I'm sorry, jbuck. I had a momentary lapse in judgment.

Domain,
Nice finds!

I noticed you are a fellow okie! I'm on a break right now but I still enjoy the hobby. I've had some success with half dollars. My best find was 214 Franklin's in a box of halves. (Find of a lifetime). Email me if you'd like. I enjoy talking with others who CRH Oklahoma.

I never take ikes back to any bank.

We spend the greasers.

I have sold (about) 500 CIR-AU-BU on ebay, but it is not worth the trouble.
It was always a way to get rid of them.

In the future I will spend all greasers, CIR, AU and some BU.
Hoard the BU, errors, toned, (all) 1976 type 1, & (all) 1972 (P),
