I report listing violations ... every time I see one. Most frequently I report sellers for now showing BOTH sides of a slab IN FULL for coins dated before 1980. The only one that I can recall that wasn't removed was the one that I reported too late for ebay to get to it.

I don't know what ebay's policy is on too high S&H. Was the seller putting it in a Small Flat Rate Box. haha. ================================= I do know ebay is making some changes for the better regarding seller's responsibilities. Is that in July?

Fact is, no one ships for ("FREE") ("FREE") is built into the selling price. ======================================= AOMT In your opinion ... what do you believe the Indian Head Penny was worth? (Not including shipping charges)

I report violations all the time, also some weeks I'm the self appointed policeman of 3cn listings in the 3cs category. Only gotten push back once. Usually people are quite pleased that somebody cared enough to try and help them sell.

dsfreeworld......... Like your balance approach to the other side of the coin. Guess it is not all about the "evil sellers."

I asked a seller this morning how he could be selling a blank planchet 1c from the early teens. I love how this person knew it was from the early teens when there was absolutely nothing on the coin. Might as well gone ahead and advertised it as 1909 S VDB blank!! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Blank-US-Pl...em3a8e12837e

Quote: what is 3cn? 3cn is short for 3 cent nickels which were struck at Philadelphia from 1865 to 1889. 3cs is short for 3 cent silvers which were struck from 1851 to 1873. -MV

It's heartwarming to see how so many CCF folks are looking out for ebay buyers and sellers, alike! I received a kindly reply from a seller today. I had told him that a token he was selling was a modern replica. One point I made was how a negative sale could negatively impact his otherwise excellent feedback.

A balanced approach is good for all. When it gets too one sided ... the wheels stop turning. A seller can keep his 100% feed back with a little effort and some common sense.

The balanced alert tends to elicit a mostly favorable response. Words and intent can too often be misconstrued. Quote: A seller can keep his 100% feed back with a little effort and some common sense. While I couldn't agree more with this, common sense is, at times, overshadowed by greed and other personality problems.
