i have found many error coins, I have sold them for a lot of money too! I enjoy the odd clip, however I have only found 2 in circulation...

I have found a 2005 p Non-magnetic cad 1 cent MS-67, and I have a fellow collector in which had found a 1965 LB VF-20 in a roll from the bank (i own it now).

I kinda like this thread You guys have some nice finds!

I consider my bargain buys as getting neat things for face value. I work a cash register at work often, so I occasionally get a silver dime or quarter for face value. One day, a coworker noticed some dimes that someone paid with that felt different than normal. They were 6 silver dimes ranging from 1945-1957. Also, my manager was really nice yesterday and gave me a 1971 50 cent coin that someone used to pay with. Sometimes it surprises me to find what people pay with. I've even seen a 2002 50 cent coin that was likely broken out of a set.

I bought a 1797 large cent for less than 5 dollars. I found out that it was the very rare S-121a variety and sold it for $800.

One of my better bargains.
I bought this dollar on ebay in October 2012. It was a raw coin and I was the winning bidder at $31.85can. with shipping included. Last year I sent it to ICCS for grading. In total I have less than $50 invested in the coin.
Sometimes you can find some bargain buys on ebay on raw coins. Just have to take a chance once in a while if you see a coin that appeals to you.

It must of been my lucky day DP9#5! Picked this one up a couple of years ago for $10.00 the guy wanted $12.00 and when I got home and removed it out of the 2x2 flip I just could not believe it. In the flip you couldn't see the DP9! DP(#5
