Legit Henning Nickel (1944 "No P")?

Looks like a well-worn Henning to me.

Finn235, here is an inverted color of the reverse.

If someone tells me how to upload a larger than 100KB file I could do that if it would help.

It looks like one to me, there are at least two reverse dies for the 1944 hennings. One has a loop in the R, the other does not. It looks like its made of nickel rather than the 35% silver alloy regular 44 p's are made of as well.

I've been roll-searching for about a year, not every week or anything. I've probably only done about a dozen boxes with no luck. I've been watching ebay for quite some time and finally found this one recently.

I'm glad to have the local expert give the coin his blessing ;-)

I'd hate to buy a fake "fake"!

P.S. How do you know? What do you see (or not see) in the coin that makes it a Henning? All the things you say in your other posts?

1. Known Henning dates are '39, '44, '46', '47 and '53
2. Suspected dates (but unconfirmed): '43, '45 and '51.
3. The 1944 is obvious since it lacks the large mint mark
4. A "hole" at the bottom of the "R" in "Pluribus" is a definite indicator of a Henning.
5. Weight alone can not be used as an indicator; they can vary from 4.7 grams to 5.4 grams
6. Hennings always lack detail; they look worn, "soft" in details, yet surfaces are very rough
7. Hennings often don't have full rims
7. Henning surfaces look porous
8. Some Henning have raised dots or 'pimples'
a. Coins w/ the "holey R" have one inside the "M" of "UNUM"
b. Some have a "dot" above Monticello
