In comparison, this 20 Balboa coin is a monster at over 4 ounces and it's struck till 1979. Also a Franklin Mint (I presume that's US?) Just imagine its worth just 1 or 2 years later when silver peaked.

Wow, that "Panama pill" is crazy small! I definitely didn't know they were minted here.. Now I want one even more! Darn it! Lol

As mentioned above the smallest for circulation in the US was indeed the type 1 gold dollar .. Mite as well throw a pic of one of those up as too ... Why not right? Lol

I don't know where you guys are coming up with these coins, but I have to say the smallest coin struck
by a u.s. mint would have to be the 3 cent silver. 1851-1873. at 14 mm.

Like all coins I am sure it does....rolls under the furniture and is never seen again! Plenty of rolls for EVERY type of coin.

What about my profile picture :P Does it roll under the furniture too? (It's a copper rouble, weighing 1kg by the way)
Speaking of which,

Not a gold rouble, but you do see a copper rouble. I wish I have one.

Just presenting the facts no fiction! The US trime is a small coin, but it's definitely not the smallest coin ever struck by the US Mint.
