Makes you wonder if this will ever sell at this price point.
I think Rare Coin Wholesalers had a PCGS 66RD that was going for stupid money.

I pay more for photo sealed coins (to a limit of course). I do agree that this coin is a bit overpriced, but Rick is usually more conservative than the graders and CAC. Of the many raw coins I have bought from him, my experience is that they have graded two or three grades higher than what he assigns. His raw coins are usually a pretty good deal.

I understand this coin is more of a investment grade. I like to think that even investors do not like to over pay. But then a look at numismedia's prices does show why this coin might be listed this high. Quote:
