On another similar post I said 1916D Merc in MS-69 or -70
Now I'd throw in 1909S VSB same grade.

If you find that VSB, you'll be on the front page of every numismatic publication.

I've had my dream coins, except the realistic one I could not afford to own unless I hit the Super Lotto jackpot. I have since sold them all off, but the Two Cent Collection complete in MS66BN or RB and PR in PR63 or better, except for that super expensive Small Motto Proof. (I could get a nice house or condo for one of those in PR63 or better).

Now days it's just a few better grade (VF+) 1793-1799 Large cents and Half Cents, maybe some other EAC stuff like Fugio cents, Hard times tokens, etc. And a few tough to find numismatic books.

I don't know if this can work for US people but do this and you will make lots of money.

Also, that 20 cent I mentioned on the other thread is a realistic dream coin to me because why shouldn't I be able to get $700,000...I mean its just $700,000 some investing, smart financial decisions.. you know and I'll be good to go.

Since the 1895-P Morgan dollar is not very realistic, I pick a 1856 Flying Eagle cent as my dream coin

I think mine will be a 1909-S VDB in MS63 or 64 to complete my Lincoln set. This is going to need to be some sort of milestone coin - i.e. some kind of major life event like retirement, win the lottery...

I just want a 1929 Indian Head Half Eagle. Any of the low mintage Saint-Gaudens double eagles would be a dream. If I am going to lay out big money I want a good chance at appreciation. The Indian Heads are just beautiful for their won sake as are the St. Gaudents of any date. The 1916 Liberty Standing quarter is a dream that is realizable in good condition or maybe VG. Only 52,000 minted, but how many actually exist?

A $10 gold Oregon Beaver.

I'll never own one so it will always be a dream.

EF or better flowing hair dollar certified by PCGS or NGC. I've wanted one ever since I've seen a picture of one when I was in High School.

1796 Draped Bust $1 TPG slabbed VF+ without a "Details" grade.

Failing that, 1909 S VDB LWC in PCGS MS63+ RD or RB. 1932-S Washington quarter MS64 or better. 1793 Wreath Large Cent in F12 slab, details ok.

So many coins, so little time.

I would like to add a Carson City Morgan dollar to my collection. I'm not even picky about which one. Every time I start to buy one, my mind starts thinking how many Morgans or other coins I could buy with the same money. I'm sure ONE DAY I'll run across one I just can't pass on.

I enjoyed reading what everyone else sees as their Dream Coin.
