The left side of the reverse is shot, for whatever reason, and the clasp is not strong. I can't see it at VF.

F, maybe a low VF regarding wear, but grime and lightly rough surfaces especially on the obverse are decreasing its value IMO.

not the best eye appeal but I would guess it could barely make a VF20.

VF-20. Very weak strike typical of pre-1820 halves.

I'd call it an F15 but could see a VF20 grade if being a tad generous.

Thanks all for posting!
I thought F15. Seller said VF20, asking $100.
Greysheet Fine is $68; VF is $155 (I assume that's VF35).
We agreed on $90.

Quote: Greysheet Fine is $68; VF is $155 (I assume that's VF35). It is not. VF in the Greysheet means VF20. $90 sounds like a fair price since that is a nice looking piece.

Quote: ...VF in the Greysheet means VF20... Thanks for clarifying. I looked and couldn't find that info. Also wondering what the Greysheet "+" and "-" symbols mean. They occasionally appear between the bid and ask prices.
