Thanks for the replies. Moxking, they are all graded MS 69. But I did notice a few of them have a some milk spots. I did check out ebay and saw these were selling $30+ each. It was a toss up buying these slabbed ones and there was a Dansco with about the same amount of coins. The coins in the Dansco were really nice.. but I have two Dansco sets. Not really sure what I want to do with them .. with them sitting on the table all day .. they are starting to grow on me.

Quote: Sometimes being a coin collector is a lot of work. If you call THAT "work", I wanna be your employee. Where do I sign up? I don't collect slabs otherwise I'd be a buyer for those.

GR...Thanks for posting this. I have to laugh because it reminds me of me. Can't tell you how many times I walk in a store or search online for "this" but end up purchasing "that" instead. Glad to know I am not the only one!!
They do look like a very nice group of silver eagles.

I saw just this morning that JM Bullion sells a full set of 30 NGC MS69 slabs for about $1400.

Quote: Grasshopper you must stay focused I know your right Muddler ... but it is very hard for me to do When I first bought them I thought wow that is a good price. I should be able to flip them and put the profit into coins I need. Now I am starting to like them .. So this morning I sorted though my collection finding duplicates to sell. First pass I think I have enough to cover this purchase. But there is still a $2.50 gold and a Trade dollar I really want. It really is never ending.

So now you will need the three missing and add each year after in NGC 69. I see these holes in the set burning in your brain.

Great Looking Eagles.... Remember, Just because any coin is slabbed does not mean it is what the label states. This is just My opinion but I believe You or any other collector can look at a slabbed coin, and locate problems, even a MS-70. Not all, but far too many...

I understand what your saying, I feel it is the same even in raw coins. I feel you could go to 10 different LCS's. And for example look at raw Seated half dollars. They may have some that are graded on the 2X2's as VF ... but as you said, You or any other collector can look at a (raw) coin, and locate problems. This hobby is always changing. For right now the top three grading companies is the best thing we have to get fairly consistent grading. There are many collectors that need help in grading. In addition .. Slabbed/graded coins are now part of this hobby. Some might not like them .. but they are here. I do understand some collectors are into collecting labels. For me, I think a set that has all the same labels, and very close to the same grade. Is a pretty nice looking set.

An infomercial on TV caught my eye a couple weeks ago. They had complete set of NGG MS69 1986-2015 ASEs for sale at $59.99 +s/h for each coin. Makes it over $1700 for complete set.
By the way I am extremely jealous. Want whole set but can't afford. I do have the 1986 NGC MS69 your missing though.
