Concerning the 20a2, I have two die states in my collection
Obv 5 / Rx 2 XF 40
Obv 5 / Rx 3 VF 20

I have two other duplicates.

doug

Thought I would show my 20a2 as it would slot in the middle VF30

Devlec, that is odd what ever that is in that coin and it looks well circulated VF and it is still there nice find

Question was it laminated over that area and maybe broke off through its time in circulation?

Thank you, Kiwi, for the kind words. I've stayed out of this thread because the Haxby numbers are confusing to me and make my head hurt. However, I have some of everything already shown plus some that haven't been on here yet.

..Was bought looking like this..but arrived with the piece missing.

I would never have picked at it..and we would never had been the wiser that something was lurking inside that cent..
I feel that the seller saw something when packaging,..and picked at it ,..and then lost the piece as it broke off..

I asked him to search for that missing piece,..but he never found anything..

He gave me a partial refund for receiving something different than his advertised pic..

I have no camera or photography skills. I used to use a QX-5, but don't do anything now with photos.

okiecoiner to bad we live far apart. I would ID and photograph all your coins for you! That would be lots of fun. You could always mail them to me and I would do it for you...
