I used to pay at school or fast food places with halves. The people always looked at me like I was crazy. They would always say. "Wow, a half dollar, I'm going to switch that out and keep it!" I just though to myself....go to the bank and get some if you really need them.

I bought some plants for my yard a few weeks ago and paid with $100 in $1 rolls. I also was at a small carnival recently and paid for a few items with half dollars and $1 coins (including some new Presidential dollars). The one lady got really excited about the golden dollars and thought it was real gold.

Yeah, my wife spent a roll of my 90% silver Kennedys by mistake a couple of weeks ago. Now, all my silver rolls are marked with a highlighter.

I love the $2 bills, they are SOOOOOOOooooOOoo much fun. About 80% of the population thinks they are fake. ROFL

yup BadThad, everytime I pay with a two, the clerk looks at me, then the bill, then at me again, and finally after thinking it all over, goes and marks the bill with one of those special pens to see if it is real or not.

I always pay toll booth with $1, half, or ike. It seems that is the only situation I remember to spend these funky money. Now I start to pay fast food with coin money.

I can't remember the last time I saw a half dollar in circulation. I have lots of credit card receipts though.....

Man, That absolutely SUCKS! Especially with silver up so high- but at least there are some happy people out there getting their change back in silver...

I enjoy paying my bills with Kennedy half dollars and/or $2 bills.

No clerk has questioned them recently, but they always stare at them for a while before putting them in the cash register.

People always take interest when I pay for something with halves. Usually, they switch them out at the register, and keep them. I feel like I am helping people to save money. None of them seem to know that the banks are flowing with them.

My teller told me yesterday that the president of the bank will not release them into circulation because no one wants them. If he payed for something with them, he may be suprised.

Halves and pres dollars are great for poker night too. (Friends are usually happy to take some with or maybe you'll be real lucky and keep them all)

The other day I used six of them at McDonald's and the girl at drive-thru was confused. She asked me what they were, she never saw one before. I love using dollars and halves sometimes,
