I'm happy to see you are liking it here and learning, Rjeezy91!

Post-mint Damage ( PMD) can, and will, come in all different forms, shapes and sizes. Many times it is consistent like on your coin. One big question to ask yourself when examining a coin like this is, "How could this have happened at the Mint?"

Of course, that requires knowledge of the minting process which can be found all over CCF. Sorry, I dont have any specific links.

Keep up the search and the research!

Rjeezys coin seems to be struck through the "O" in of on the backside and mine is struck through the "A" in America his scar on Washington's face is runing consistently with the pattern on mine but doesn't seem as deep isn't as deep.I been trying to hunt down the same pattern of errors as mine for a long time now. I also have some other thoughts on this coin and errors.

@stro, first welcome to CCF. Second, yes your coin also suffers from normal wear and tear plus a lttle damage. It is safe to spend.

Thank you for the welcomes band the heads up. Ill probably just keep it. Its a great conversation piece. I call it my "wounded warriors" because of Washingtons scar on his cheek and all the battle type wounds on the eagle. It has been a pleasure being here. I have other interesting coins but have to find the right forums.thanks again.
