To me, slight wear shows at the top of the eagle's leading wing. AU-58 in my book, very attractive.

there is no way this coin is MS. grade the coin not the slab. the wear that appears on both sides is not from a weak strike

Panzaldi, this series is my specialty. There really is not much wear on the coin and as I stated the photos make it appear flat and dull. An AU58 would show more wear on the wing then this does. I do buy the coin and not the slab and I like how this one looks as I enjoy these coins with some funny color. I am not picking a fight, but I have looked at enough of these and owned them in many grades from Au50- MS65 and this one to me at least has MS qualities. Sometime Ill take better pictures. But I never buy a coin for the slab as I am told over and over again by people in the business that I have a great eye and I certainly buy what I like. I'm not sure this coin is really a 63, but its much more MS then any 58 I have seen.

I see wear on the eagle's wing. IMO it's an AU coin.

I agree with you, most people can't grade these in person much less through a picture. Sometimes I think people forget that these aren't raised designs

Basebal21- Yea I look at a ton of these in person as my favorite series and I really am not seeing much of the wear people are stating. There is some funny toning but I definately have seen plenty of of eagles with shoulders like this in even 64 holders.

I have too. People need to think how is a single spot going to wear when the design is sunk into the coin.

The Gold coin definitely looks MS to me.
I only said MS-61 because the color looked strange.
