Mox I suggest you spend some time on photograde to refamiliarize yourself with what an ms64 walker looks like.

In my opinion, this coin is not gem, much less ms66.

I'm not sure if I can find the original picture. I cropped it and that's the only one I have, I think. I remember the grade....not sure if people would believe me. You're all a bit high. Don't want to give it away.

PCGS has recently started grading more conservatively, so I'll say MS-62 or 63? My grade is 64 or 65.

Does it have a little rub on it knocking to AU-58?

Not sure what you mean by rub. The luster looks great. It does have some flaws though. The foreleg of the eagle is pretty smooth. The "dollar" is all smashed.

I'm not a grader though.

I don't see a rub. Asking if there is one on a high spot that is hard to see in the pic.

OK, times up. It was an AU55. Can't remember AU55 or AU58, but pretty sure AU55.

Someone who is knowledgeable could possibly look it up on e-bay.

That's a pretty nice looking AU-58, as the price would indicate.

That's why I was asking if there was a rub on it. A coin can jump from MS-65 to AU-58 if it circulates just enough to get a spot of wear.

I didn't see a rub per se. Sometimes they're hard to see, I think. I think it's the "dollar" being mashed to pieces.

As others have mentioned, it appears to be Struck Through Grease on "dollar". If it was smashed during circulation, it would be damaged, and not a straight AU-58 (at least I don't think).

Moving the coin around in the light probably reveals a spot of wear.

Strike is a touch weak.
I'll go with MS-64.
