The 1925 quarter grades about vg10. In that grade it is worth about $8. It is definitely worth more than the silver melt value that the earlier poster was quoting.

If you paid $10 for the 5 coins as you stated, the melt value of the coins is about 11x-12x face value for the silver coins, so that is worth about $10 just in silver.

Since the other coins aren't pictured, we can assume that they are worth melt. The value of the quarter at vg10 is more than 2x melt. That alone means that the coins you bought are worth more that you paid. Good job on your first purchase.

Can I post pictures of my 4 other coins? If so, do I edit and add them to my original post or post them in the reply?

$12.50 is fine for those coins!

You can add the pictures to any post, no need to edit the original one.

What's cool about this purchase is it consisted of coins that circulated around the time of WWII. The Steel Cent is a classic and is something most US collectors have in their collection. The other coins are considered all time favorites as well. Walking Liberty is arguably one of the favorite silver designs for many collectors. You got these at a great price so congrats! The Standing Liberty quarter looks to be in VG-8 condition.

I would grade the quarter VG8 and nice looking overall. I think you did just fine on the buy; anytime you can buy silver near melt value, you are doing ok.
