@YesOrNo That is a good looking coin; I particularly like the faceting pattern on the Obverse field. I won't be buying the series but the reason is that I spent a bunch of my life in the VideoGame industry and the last thing I want to see these days is a 3D model made up of polygons... I know an odd reason to step away but there it is. Quote:Eitherway nice to see a RCM coin stir up abit of excitement This is actually good to see that a straight up silver coin... Albeit with a "ludicrous mode" cameo effect is generating this level of interest and it doesn't have GITD or glass bugs or even selective plating (borrowing the term ludicrous from the Tesla Model S and not intended as a slight).

Quote: What do you think? Will you get the whole series I subscribed to the whole series. For me, if coins are part of a series and I am missing one, then I feel my collection is not complete.

@YesOrNo: Thanks for posting actual images of the coin - they look great! I can see why some folks are excited by the coin. It's not for me, but I agree with the comment about how it is nice to see excitement about a non-bedazzled silver coin from the RCM.

Thank you for sharing, YesOrNo, great coin! As I told, will not buy none. But if there is a choice - whould buy all 3 of them, since when such coin alone, it just doesn't fit a thing. I have the UHR Lynx coin and it literally 'stuck' among other, more traditional RCM coins. Having mini set / series will be more reasonable. However, all depends first on budget and visual appeal of other coins.

@YesOrNo Thank you for the stunning photos. All subs are sold out now, including The Shopping Channel. Only Gatewest still has the single coin available at issue price. However, they lowered the points to 2.8% from 7%. Prices are $194.95 on ebay now. I bought only the single, and now regret not buying the set. The Shopping Channel had five left earlier today. Then "poof" they were gone. Quote:I have the UHR Lynx coin and it literally 'stuck' among other, more traditional RCM coins. Having mini set / series will be more reasonable. I have the same lonely coin. This is what encouraged me to buy the set, but I was too late.

I received my subscription box for the animal head set on Friday The box is top quality, very heavy duty. Same material as 1 oz coins. The box looks great in holding all three coins.

also broke down and ordered the " pride of 2 nations" coin set from the US mint instead of getting the 2019 Canadian cored silver coin set....the US mint still has some left....HUGE mintage but awesome looking coins if u are into the maples and silver eagles...

Yes, I will buy the singles to complete the set. I bought the Canadian set. Very nice. Just noticed that Colonial Acres has two of the American sets available for $249.00 https://www.colonialacres.com/produ...1-ap3256.htm

But yes, it looks as durable. The top quality will be "Masks" / "Penny set" boxes. This one in the middle. At the bottom - plastic case or cardboard box. @Looney: don't be disappointing, unless you planned on some re-sells, for your own collection just get the rest 2 singles. May I disagree a bit? Added: Who can explain in 2 lines, please, the value of the Canada / US 2-coin bullion set? Isn't it the same idea as F15 set, with standard overpriced bullion coins? The SML slighly different, but there are many others slightly different SMLs.....

@Silveroid: There are lots of ASE collectors in the US who desire complete sets. The Pride set has an ASE that can only be purchased in it, hence the demand (at least in the US). I would think the same reasoning applies to Canada and the SML. No?

SMLs there are too many (and very nice designs of fractional sets also added to this variety).

Was hesitant at first, but then this set got me excited. I look forward to the Bear in October.

The Bear is absolutely gorgeous. The Wolf is cool, but in hand, the Bear is outstanding. Also, I had to buy the entire set as singles, and the seller that I bought the Wolf from was cool enough to send the three coin clamshell. These coins will be the last coins that I ever sell. They're very cool.

@jetboy
I agree. the BEAR coin is way more spectacular than the Wolf head. I believe it is the most outstanding of the three.
