With the quality of 2020 products already received from the mint, lets just say my hopes aren't high. Ordered the Happy Birthday Coin Set (2) all 10 coins had problems, lets see what special care they take with these nickels

I got to thinking some more about this and will try to look at it in a positive way today. It might bring more collectors interest into the Jefferson nickel collecting area and when there is more interest, it sure doesn't hurt the values of our collections. As long as they don't kill the goose that lay the golden eggs and drain our budgets for keeping up with our sets, it might be an OK thing once in a while.

I'll get these as I collect all 3 annual sets anyway. Quote: As long as they don't...drain our budgets for keeping up with our sets, it might be an OK thing once in a while. Agree. Last year was my most expensive year by far for Mint products and my bank account could use a break.

Voted don't care either way. I buy the sets every year regardless.

I buy one proof, silver proof and mint set each year. This year there will be a nickel. I wonder if that means a dime in 2021, a quarter in 2022 and a half dollar in 2023? Of course with the price increase, there is an increased bite.

Got an email confirming my uncirculated mint set subscription and I am still bummed they are not able to add a 2020-W nickel to it.

Beat me to it, JBuck. I'll be ordering one none the less sometime late this afternoon along with the Innovation products I put off to justify the shipping.

I am already in free shipping territory, so no need to wait. I think the subscription is free ship regardless, so no need to wait on it, especially with the lower mintage this year.

i ordered the mint set and put off the innovation stuff for now, this is my 3rd purchase though so free shipping as long as I squeeze in future purchases for this year before the end of the year.
Moneys just tight right now and figured hold off on the "stupid" innovation RP and set maybe do them one here or there with the free shipping as finances permit. I been stalling on the innovation stuff this year anyways, not pleased they increased the price.
I also feel like they are gonna have a hard time selling the mint set out considering no W nickel, Which the W cent was the main reason fro me buying multiple mint sets last year. this year, only buying one.

I am having a difficult time getting excited about the RP Innovation dollars. I have been getting the proof sets, but the thought of buying another 56 individual RP dollars (I did buy the inaugural dollar) does not sit well. Their packaging is impressive, but not that impressive. I might jump if I can get them on the cheap ten years from now. Time will tell.
