That is his job.

The designs are pretty cool but I don't like that he defaces the coins as part of the work so they're not as recognizable. Kinda defeats the point.

Don't look comfortable, and at the price you aren't going to use them anyway, so they serve no purpose. They aren't THAT attractive so that pretty much puts them in the catagory of scrap metal as far as I'm concerned.

This work is subjective and it only takes one customer to be successful.

@Conder101, think of them as works of art, not furniture. As such, there is no rational means of determining a value, and nobody will sit on them.

True. It is worth whatever someone is willing to pay.

Ever pay a lot for something just because you really wanted it?

If not, consider yourself lucky. People make irrational purchases all the time.

The irrationality of any one bid does not make sale by bidding irrational.

To borrow from another field, sale by bidding might be known as "crowdsourcing the value".

Direct sun would do the trick at temperatures far lower than 107F.

And as much fun as I had making that point, when crowdsourcing we usually take the mean or median value, not the highest ;)

As art they don't impress me.
