The claw-mark near Lady Liberty's eye is unfortunate. I also have it as MS-63.

I'm at MS-63. VAM 10 or 10A as well. Nice coin.

I'll betcha PCGS were tempted to think about MS-63PL, but thought better of it. Our opinions ranged from MS-63 to 64 - quite narrow. That's at max 1-1/2 grades above what PCGS thinks it is, and not too bad for us, not hand held, and without a 10x loupe.

The harder and more conservative that a TPG is, the more respected will be their will be their reputation. There is always remains the temptation for TPG to grade higher, because customers wish to see their slabbed coins with the highest grade possible. That is why a dissatisfied customer is tempted to submit their coins to another TPG - more business for the easy TPG. Sometimes better to ask for opinions here in the CCF - and with no cost.
