I need to correct the weight, I was concerned about the weight not being accurate because it feels heavier than it said so I went ahead and purchased a new set of scales and also got some weights to calibrate my old pair and after doing so the weight has changed significantly, the correct weight is 0.97g and I went ahead and checked it with a magnet also to see if it was magnetic and its not.

No it's not even a good replica. None of the real ones look like this. One what? The word "dollar" is missing, typical for all replicas. The earliest date is 1852, on the half dollars.
That said, real CA dollars were typically 1.2 grams or so. It might have some gold content, up to $50 value.

Are you certain it is .18 grams, that is very light.

I think the OP corrected that weight to 0.97g.

THQ You sound as if you must know a lot about this type of coins, could you tell me where I could find some images of some of the actual coins? I would love to be able to see something to reference this by so if I find myself here again at least I will have an idea of what to look for?

Sorry for the delay in response guys, been crazy at work the past couple days. Carl thanks for the compliment of my coin even though, lol. To be honest I am very new in my coin collecting, I have had an interest in it for a good bit however never really took the time to get started until one day I was at an estate auction and along came a lot Of coins that had been passed down from the gentleman's father who happened to own a coin shop, I figured the possibility of some good collectible coins being in that lot was high so I made sure they went home with me. It has been a huge task to someone with a virgin eye trying to get through all of these coins and figure out if there is anything that is worth holding on to, which is probably why I've only got about 1/8 of it done. Lol. Anyway, I got off track, so the coin was in that lot of coins from the auction.

NSS, I absolutely did look at the link you posted, and I seen the one like I have towards the bottom of the page however I wasn't sure what it meant to see it on that page, I didn't know if it was telling me that it was indeed fake or what. Am I just missing it?
