I agree with John, something off about the surfaces. From these it looks to have been polished at one point. Maybe AU Details based on these pics.

Agree surfaces do not appear natural in these pics, though the detail is strong.

I'll work on the picts, I'm working with a iphone and a makeshift light box (2 liter bottle wrapped in tissue paper)..I'm finding that coins with a lot of luster or mirroring are difficult to capture what is in hand vs what is captured in a pict.

the cleaning/polishing is very noticeable across the reverse. hairline scratches all over the devices. take a close look a the scratches across "E PLURIBUS UNUM". since this is a common coin imo it would not have any collector value over melt. AU details

Remember the 1928 Peace is actually a much better date in the series.

This coin is worth many multiples of melt value. Probably well over $100.

I'm not a Peace dollar fan so I dont have the knowledge base for them compared to the morgans. should have researched this one better.
