Here's a good point from another thread about these 2008 Kennedy halves.......

With a mintage of only 2M, the 2006-D Kennedy is a 'key date' also, yet still only bids for around $23 bucks per roll, last time I checked. Indeed the 2008 P&D production figures are a bit lower, but then again since NONE of modern (2002 to date) Kennedys have ever appreciated in value significantly, I'm not really feeling that much more optimistic about the 2008's :(

But any upside to these is better than what I am seeing in the stock market

It's buy high, sell low...right?

I'm not finding the 2008 JFK halves on the US Mint site. It is not under bags and rolls and it's not under "Product Index" as of right now. Maybe it sold out today?

I just checked again at 8:33 a.m.
YES THEY ARE STILL THERE !

It's under "Product Availability".......NOT PRODUCT INDEX !
Then click on the 3rd page
They are still right there as they were yesterday when I ordered them.

Hummmm....yea, but that's already in the black. I paid about $17/roll and they're already worth $20-25....and the mint is still selling them. No matter what, I'm not going to lose money should I decide to sell them at ANY point.

Cool that the 2008 JFK rolls sold out! Now I wonder if they will be higher on ebay?

I haven't seen any changes to the SAC golden dollar mintages- they are still 14.8 million D and 9.8 million P
