Correct, no mint mark. From my understanding it is minted in Philadelphia without the mark which is present as D or S if present. There is a slight shiny mark in vicinity

1922s are among the more common Peace dollars, even as uncirculated and values are kind of a derivative of spot silver they are so abundant in the numismatic world. The coin doesn't carry enough of a premium to normally justify the grading fees + shipping costs.

If you were determined to have it graded for protection or to pass along to a child, consider waiting for an ANACS special Past specials have looked like 10 Morgan/Peace dollars graded and returned for $110. The last one was 10 Buffalos graded for $80. Occasionally it's been 10 Classic US coins and you can submit some variety. If you have a few other coins, this might be a more economical way than trying to use PCGS/NGC.

Not an Encased Coin. It is encapsulated.

With all the obverse marks I'd be at MS-62. Save your money on TPG grading.

Besides that the capsule it is in will preserve it better than a slab. The slabs are not air tight while the capsules are.

Not worth grading. It's MS-62, there now it's graded.

Nice coin but not worth the cost of getting professionally graded. Keep enjoying the coin.

Okay, thanks for the extra pic. I see it now - probably just a bag mark, no error.
