Very nice! This is definitely FS-101. Always fun to have varieties in the original cello.

Do not thank to me. I tank you, because in the last time we see more and more those transitional DD. Time go so more coins come up. In collecting what mean transitional DD. It is probably the first Dies restrike. Once strike, the hub change a little bit and we have the second which in general is better know. This differences can say for a specific DD where could be place in the history of the strike. It is the same DD, but : for example but first stage, second stage and etc.

Nice find. I'm not sure if this coin is full bands or not, it looks like it could be. PCGS only has one graded with full bands. If it graded 66 FB it would be the solo top pop!

Most are there, so it maybe an example of Stage 'B' which has no listing yet on this site. Most of the die scratches are there around the edges of the devices. Nice example. Thanks Willburton and coop! I will look again for the full bands soon as I get a chance, I'm not sure either, I was enjoying looking at the obverse too much! and did not pay much attention to the reverse. I will check with VV as well coop!
