poor 'ole Abe got screwed on this strike.
I would like to see the collar and dies after they hit that screw.

PCGS omitted to put the screw diameter and others specs LOL. Probably after this strike they change complete all the components of the press. If I am not wrong this screw was a part of the Observe adjustment on the old presses.

Do the screw has the same diameter with the bullet shot in his head at the theater? PCGS miss this.

Another 'Screwy' error coin. I also know of a coin struck on a nail.

How the dies faired probably depended on how hardened the screw was. Back in 43 the dies struck a number of steel items.
