cool bar that may have a premium but keep in mind ebay allows you to list items for ANY price as it is a free market. Therefore the price that an item is listed for rather than sold for should be taken lightly
I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set | Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better?

My brother lives in the Bay Area about 25 miles from that dealer. He is experienced buying/selling silver and will be honest with you about values. Since you're new, I am not sure if direct contact is allowed though?

The photo of that 1964 Kennedy half is of a Denver mint . If they are all D mints that's a good thing especially if they are all uncirculated . I remember that they are worth more money then the philly mints .

Wow! That's quite the inheritance. Your "bounty" is quite a bit more than I got from my dad. You can read about it here http://goccf.com/t/398901I went through each and every one of his coins. Decided to keep the best specimens and put them in albums, sold the rest to a coin shop. Probably got less than I could have but I wasn't try to maximize my return. My mother's edict was, "I don't want these, get rid of them and I'll split the money with you." If I wasn't around she probably would've just taken them to the bank and got face value for them. Because of this I am now a coin collector! I am trying to fill in the gaps of some of the coins he didn't have. He didn't have any of the "super" key dates, 1909s VDB cent for example. So those will probably be the last coins I acquire. I would suggest you go through all the coins but don't get your hopes up but who knows, maybe there is a 1916D Mercury dime in there! Or better yet, multiple!

I found another 600 Kennedy clads and sold them to the local dealer.... He offered me 1500 for the grease bar and I told him I'd keep it for that. I have it listed on ebay,so I'll see what happens. As for the rest. My Mom put this away long ago because she thought someday the Country would go to **** She was way ahead but......

Do not sell any of it. This is for your retirement and the future.

Sorry I was busy with my Dad's estate I'm not going to sell the rest of it. You never know what the future will bring. Gold is fine but I don't want to carry a digital scale and a file in my back pocket. Everybody says don't sell the silver! I agree. Good luck to my fellow Americans.

My opinion it is: Do not sell yet the gold and silver if you do not need some funds now. The both metals will sky. Silver seem to go versus 1980. Today the production of silver is at the half of the demand. All batteries (modern), electronics and solar panels need silver. Same with the gold. Beside this, is the fact that you has coins, which I am pretty sure some has big value.
