Congrats Will.
I agree the older slabs tend to gravitate upwards in grade, for PCGS anyways.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Hi WILL, before to submit to PCGS and broke the holder do you check for the holder rarity? Sometimes the holder is more valuable then the coin which add value. (If you do not have the study for the slabs, PM me and I will e-mailed you if you can take 10MB PDF file)

Second, if you submit I hope for you have the 65, but the strange metallic flow on the observe and heavy polish Die made me be unsecure about. I agree with PETE of the tendency, and almost now when the CAC go also CACG in grading so another competitor for them. This it is another discussion but now we will have 5 graders and only one left for accurately grading the QC.

PS: I have this one (on my book it is ANACS 65) but for me it is a mystery to detect. D/S

Thanks sil. I have been away for the last two days. I agree this coin has a slightly mushy strike but has nice luster and tone. I also agree I have not seen an example of this die that show a D/S. The one vv has listed is the earliest example I've seen and could be a D/D imo.

Did you submit for regrade, or crack it out of the slab completely?

Thanks again everyone. I personally like to take them out of the slab. The worst one to crack out of the slab is an NGC MS67. I've done it a few times. They are usually a 66 and every now and then a 66+ when submitted to PCGS. Also the new gen ANACS holders will not always cross. My best results have been old NGC and ANACS coins. Here's the trueview!
