HEY! Good point Mike!
E&V, that is a bullion ASE as I mentioned up above not a West Point Minted ASE. (that 'W' you see on the obverse are the designers initials "A and W" stacked. for Adolph A. Weinman.
You will find the mint marks on these on the reverse.
The 'W' Proofs started in 2001
and the 'W' Burnished (uncirculated) started in 2006

But there is one HUGE Exception, which is the 1995-W Proof, the so-called "King" of the eagles with a low mintage of only 30,102 Umm - I mean 30,125 made. and a very high cost/value. A graded one in PR70 can go as high as $16,000, and dropping to $4,500 in PR69 (according to the latest Red Book.)

Thank you Dearborn for pointing that out. Also, thank you for answering my question as well. My mistake. I fixed the title of the thread. I had no idea that the W Mint mark would be on the reverse. I've learned something new today.

John, You Stated, " 1995-W Proof, the so-called "King" of the eagles with a low mintage of only 30,102 made. "

The King it Is, and Your Right, The " EXCEPTION "... It Is....

Just a Type Error? I am Sure, The Actual Mintage in the 1995-West Point Minted American Silver Eagle Series is , 30,125 My Friend.....

Mike, it is an exception because it was a W ASE - THE very first W mint marked ASE! and it was way before the mint decided to do it full time, year after year.. And this one ASE will always be my favorite!

And you are welcome EV!

@Errors &V's:
I made a few small changes to the spread sheet and resent a better one (I even fixed one small typo error - thanks Mike)

If you want more of other albums, I can send them too. Some I'm still making but what I have you can have too if you want.
(that goes for anyone that reads this...)
