hfjacinto, sounds like the bug bit ya a long time ago. I, as well as you, have gone in spurts and lulls for many years. Being older and a bit wiser now, I know why. This endeavor is meditation #129496;#8205;#9794;#65039;. A mind focused on a single thought. That is peace. Thanks for sharing the fruits of your mindfulness. |

Dowhat, I agree on the meditation aspect. Some times I pull out coins just to look at them. The history, the design the value all meld to a calm moment.

Thanks for sharing, hfjacinto. I'll echo your positive sentiments about being a member of this forum; I've only been a member of CCF since May 2021, but I have to admit the interactions I've had here with a great group people with such varied interests has really had a significant influence on my personal collecting goals. I've exited several areas of collecting but also started a few new adventures. I'm in my 6th decade of collecting, and I'm having as much fun with this as I ever have!
