No Biggy just becomes confusing with more than one item per thread.

Alright, that's quite a stash. I don't know rare dates, you can scan thru the price guide I linked to above and check for rare dates, but assuming common dates, circulated Morgan dollars are worth maybe $25 each. Franklin and "walker" halves, and Washington quarters are worth a little more than melt value, so like 10 bucks for a half, 5 for a quarter. The cent, can't see the date. The 1877 half is nice, that is getting "numismatic" where the value easily exceeds the silver melt value. (Currency and that gold bar, no idea.)

But the most interesting coin here to a collector is the 1800 in your first post, would like to see more of that one.

You should post the currency in the "paper money" forum here http://goccf.com/f/8. The red label $5 and the $1 silver certificate are cool, but I doubt there is much value there. They are both quite worn. The $50 is a "star" note aka replacement note so that makes it a little special, but I'm guessing also not much value above face.

That is either a 1800 dime or Half Dime, depending on the size. Either one is a very special coin and not often seen, unfortunately it is quite badly bent and damaged. In perfect shape it would probably be VF condition and worth into the thousands, but with the damage it is a "raw details" coin, you can get an idea of its value looking at SOLD prices for similar coins -

heres the dime - dime

heres the Half Dime - half dime

1800 VF Details Half Dimes have sold in the $500-1000 range, but yours appears to be more damaged. https://www.ngccoin.com/auction-cen...coinid-14264
It also seems to be the LIBEKTY variety. Not sure if that adds much, seems to be common.

Everyone here would say yes collecting is great fun and this might be a great start to a collection If you want to sell them though, you could either bring them down to your trusted local coin shop, or if you don't have one of those then I would just put them on ebay. Many many eyeballs on ebay and everything seems to get bid right up to its real value. They take something like 13% plus there's shipping so there's always costs involved selling. In your case I would bundle all the silver dollars into a lot, all the newer half dollars and quarters into another lot, and list the 1877 and 1800 individually. Take the best pictures you can and make sure to put them in the right category.

1877 cc half. Carson City coins are always in demand. I agree with selling on ebay. If your not in a hurry, list them as a buy it now for higher than they are worth. Someone usually will buy them eventually
