I wonder, are these sorts of combo coin/stamp first day of issue packages heavily collected?

I like to know this too. And where this idea originated.

In short, No!

Only a small group of collectors currently pursue PNCs and the number is down from 20-30 years ago.

I have a few dozen in my collection, but have never considered myself a hardcore collector of them. The ones I have purchased have served as interesting supplements to my core collections.

Seems like a good opportunity to amass a collection on the cheap! I personally like them (and this one that commems has featured is a fine example) but to date I have only collected the Statehood & Territory PNCs and the Presidential dollar PNCs. I may have one or two others somewhere in my collection.

Again, very glad to have you back, commems!
