Normal tolerance - 25g may even be legit. Buy "Heavy", sell "Light"

"Not Genuine" needs to be determined by more than just weight - that is close to tolerance.! Pictures of the under weight coins will help - and rotated properly!

@flo, first welcome to CCF. Second, moving forward, please limit your threads to a single coin. That way we can give each one the attention that it deserves. Thx.

Quite a few coins you're showing there. At least you can probably tell that your scale is reasonably accurate. I assume all the weights you show are net of the tare weight of the capsule? Quote: "Not Genuine" needs to be determined by more than just weight That's absolutely true, but an incorrect weight is a good place to start. And the two 1878's in the original post looks suspicious anyway.

The 1878 coins have the same look as other copies I've seen for sale. They have the dark toning that looks as if it's been wiped away around the portrait of Liberty. Here's an image I found of one of these sets.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

So someone's selling a $1k worth of Morgan's for $99? On what site are these coins listed? Sounds like someone is getting robbed.

The 1878 silver dollars weighing 24.8 are almost assuredly counterfeit. The two shown in your first image have that Chinese fake look to them, also.

The scale has been Zeroed out with the capsules so that's the weight of only coins the 78s I had concerns about but the rest look good to go? Even tho they are weighing heavy?
