I have a subscription for 10 sets clad and 5 sets silver. If they seem to be slow sellers I reorder extras at the end of August. Got really burnt on the 2000 sets but have done well so far on the 2008 sets at $60 each on ebay.

If I can afford it 1 Silver Proof set 1 Clad Proof set 3 Unc. Mint sets 1 of the mint sets would be to crack open for the Cents. Now that is something I thought I would never do, cracking open a mint set just seems like sacrilege to me.

I know this will be weird to say....... But I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing how high of a price HSN ends up charging people for the "Proof Coppers" ! Can you just imagine ! HSN will be buying THOUSANDS of these Proofs Sets just to get at those Cents ! There will be a pile of discarded plastic OGP's in the back of their building the size of the Empire State Building, as they feverishly rip them open to "make their money" on parting out these Copper Cents ! The prices they'll charge though........and for "graded slabs" of the four designs.........MERCY !.......those who don't know any better are going to get ripped off MIGHTILY by HSN !

I don't do proof sets. Buy the unc. issues they have more value in the long run because of the lower mintage.

When people starting submitting Lincolns from the UNC sets, it will be interesting to follow the population reports from the TPG. The first few coins slabbed MS70RD should bring insane prices.
