@JBuck
Actually the prices is what made the decision easy. I could care less for the privy so why not get 3k and buy non privy. At the end of the day, that's all I really was thinking I was going to get anyway...

Congrats on the privy mark.
After waiting for the initial release and the first time in the "waiting room" I thought I bought a "winner" only to find out after the "experience" that it was not an immediate sellout / cash grab / profitable purchase like the good ole days of the Coin and Chronicles releases.
Anyone else make a few bucks on those?
Anywho if I would have known that these would have hit $200 on the secondary market while still available I would have recruited coworkers as in the old days.
I was going to make mine a pocket piece if it was not a privy mark but the cash grab was too hard to pass up and I sold mine as soon as I opened it and lost the raffle and as such refereed the aforementioned previous poster to sell theirs rather than return it.
The forums outside picture hosting rules and size limitations deter me from posting pics.

I kept all mine. I was not even tempted to sell them. Quote: The forums outside picture hosting rules and size limitations deter me from posting pics. I still cannot figure out why so many people have problems with file compression. It is not rocket science.

Congrats for the privy! On ebay when the seller took good pics I've seen a few with milk spots and dings. Here's one on YouTube with milk spot. A while back the mintage limit and product limit were each 75K. Later it was changed to mintage limit 75K, product limit 50K. They've sold almost 50K and now unavailable. I wonder if they'll strike/sell more later on.

Will be interesting to see what happens to the 25K, maybe bundle them with some low selling products. If mint decides to end total production at 50K the low mintage will help their long term value I think.

The commotion caused by this release must have brought back nightmares of the 2016 American Liberty Silver Medals (S)(W) release for some. I've had the (S) version for a few years and added its (W) cousin today. I dug through the archives and read the thread: http://goccf.com/t/262471 . Seems to me we could see more of this kind of chaos on any "limited" releases -- coins or medals -- going forward.

I've been watching ebay listings for these, how much they sold for, both in mint boxes and graded, will be interesting to see what they sell for in a year or two. If I figured right, PCGS, NGC populations for unsigned ones show about 15%-16% grading MS69 or less. I don't know if this is normal for mint products like ASE, I didn't look. But it seems the mint could do better than 84%-85% being MS70. Here is one on ebay, notice all the milk spots, especially above Liberty''s head. The seller noted them in the description. I sure wouldn't want to buy one with stock photos unless the seller allowed returns. I emailed mint customer service several times, asked them to be specific, why they reduced the product limit from 75K to 50K, of course they didn't answer, just responded with general statements about laws and rules they follow. I wonder if they reduced the limit due to quality problems, lack of planchets, maybe add the remaining 25K to a set but I doubt that.
