as stated - this is the real deal a monster Cud - nothing retained about that. A Retained Cud means that the die section has NOT yet broken completely off leaving the void.

Nice Cud  Good research @ -makecents-! Bowtie looks like 1991 CU-1c-ND-04 is larger but about same position and slight misaligned die matches as well... You may be on to something there! Perhaps OP should submit it? Or at least save and mark it as possible earlier stage CU-1c-ND-04
