Each TPG has their own definition of "Full Steps" and even how many steps that includes. I don't believe your coin fits any of those definitions.

Quote: I sent this to PCGS, HOPING FOR FS DESIGNATION First - we do not enjoy reading posts is ALL CAPS. It's the internet equivalent of shouting. Stop doing that. Second - you should have brought the coin here before spending the money at PCGS. Even with the tiny photos I can see an obvious vertical hit across the steps at the left side 1/3 location. Not FS and IMO a waste of your money to grade it.
Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art

will post it when pcgs is done.its been there for a week and its scheduled for grading with 3 others had to use my vouchers they expired same week coins received so hopefully they honor them and not use my new vouchers from membership renewal. heres another pic I assummed tpgs were more lenient on FS designation for the impossibe dates like 60's and 70's? by the looks of the FS coins 1965 the one set is totally shredded on the left bottom to top. heres a pic of my what I thought would qualify as FS nickel that gash 1st column vertical line within each riser/ stair line close up they don't intersect and are offset. TPG's allow for weakness of 1 step line which I would say is 3rd line down Heres pic

In my opinion, I don't think your coin will get the FS designation. In the future, post your coin here first. We could of saved you a lot of money and time.

Yours is certainly better than many 1965's, but it's still highly unlikely to get a FS designation. If anything, I would think the TPGs would be stricter, not more lenient, when calling FS makes a huge price difference. Both of the FS examples you shared have stronger steps than yours.

Yea...no...sorry I don't see your coin as full steps.
Like they say "it's only money" in your case 1 voucher. Good luck with the others you sent in.

I would have picked another coin to submit for my voucher. Descent looking nickel but no FS.
