First thought was au-53
I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set | Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better? |

I don't like the damaged rim on the reverse - AU details. And what is this area showing? Is that on the coin or just from the lighting?  |

I'd say AU 55. It has too much luster to be AU50, but has just enough wear to not make it to to AU58

From a grading challenge post here lately and hearing that PCGS graders grade around 800 coins per day
My 30 sec. view of this coin is MS-62

Solid coin, wonder if its that dark area around the eagles wing for not crossing, or the marks on the reverse rim.
