It looks some what like a Dryer Coin, but the rim is not thick, it is doubled though, not as bad on the back.

Edit to add
The close up on the mint mark looks like a stack of stikes.

It's definitely a Dryer Coin. Not an error. Just PMD.

Checked here, doesn't seem to have the characteristics of a Dryer Coin ->
https://adventuresincrh.blogspot.co...re-they.html
The rim is not wide and there is no way to account for the multiple ridges on the date, mint mark and other lettering. The only way for the rim to retain its thickness would be the second variety of Dryer Coin which would smooth out all the features, not stack them,

It's not an error. It's Die Deterioration, post-mint damage, and an early-stage Dryer Coin. A double-stuck coin is double-stuck everywhere, not just in one area.

But if you feel the need, send it to PCGS for a $75 lesson that you're getting here for free.

Appears to be corrosion bubbling the copper plating, just like bubbled paint on a rusty automobile.

There is not one "set" example of a Dryer Coin - they come in all different varieties...........

To me it looks inconsistant with any of the examples. The two varieties of Dryer Coin, have either a widened egde, or a worn thinner edge. This coins edge is consistant with other circulated pennies. Also, the lettering does not appear coinsistant with the excessive ware on a Dryer Coin. The lettering is sharp on the edges and recessed in the middle. Not saying its not some kind of PMD, but it does not appear to be consistant with any of the examples of Dryer Coin I've seen yet.

This coin shows post-strike percussive damage. Call it a Dryer Coin, a tumbled coin ... whatever. It's post-strike damage.
