SDCoinguy: The mint is selling them for $35.95. I imagine people will be listing them on ebay for more than that.

No respect for a founder of the University of Buffalo (SUNY at Buffalo). None at all.

Waste of time in my opinion.
These rolls will be available for "face value" from everyone's banks, so why pay the premium from the Mint for "the wrapper"....espicially for a very unpopular President.
If you're gonna try ebay....try it with the bank wrapped rolls. That way there's less gamble.

Having said all of that though, stranger things have often happened with ebay.....people pay extra for what they can still order or get for themselves directly from the source !

Millard Fillmore Dollars available February 18th?

I'm glad, I'm almost out of Dollar coins for the car wash, and I
sure as heck don't want to use my 2010-D Native American dollars....

Seriously, right now I have a roll of those 2001-P 'Direct Ship'
Sacagaweas in my car console. They have more brown spots than the
leopards at the zoo , and anyone reading this would spend them
at the car wash without a moment's hesitation...

eaglefoot: Strange as it may seem. People buy from the mint. Mark it up another 15-20% and sell it on ebay while it's still available at the mint.

Just called a couple of local Bank of America branches and as far as they know they don't have or won't be getting any MF dollars.

I think it may be a "banks choice" as to whether or not to order any......
But all banks are eligible to order them, and have them available for their customers, as they're "issued" and put out there for circulation.....and thankfully mine has received every single President so far.
I don't know why I can't get the new Native Dollars though, which carry the same "circulation practice" as intended with the Presidents......guess my bank "doesn't want them".....not sure !

Stopped at the KNBT Bank in Giant. They sold me a couple of rolls without asking if I was a KNBT customer.

By the time Obama's coin comes around, I am sure he will top the list.

eaglefoot: We can't get (Native American
Dollars) at our banks!

That is precisely why I made Native American dollars ten of the
prizes in my DNA's 1100th Post Contest.

The fact that banks cannot special-order Native American
Dollars from the Federal Reserve (and this situation now also applies
to 2010-up Quarters) makes my prizes a little more 'special' .

My planned '1000th Post' Contest turned into an '1100th Post' Contest
as I was waiting for the Denver Mint Gift Shop to distribute those
Native Dollars (because I can't get them at any local bank, either!)

It must be pointed out, however, that banks can in fact
order the Native American dollars from the Direct Ship program
(as available), and the bank could also most likely be able to
'justify' ordering quantities in excess of 20 boxes!

The Direct Ship program is a perfect way for banks to get 'a few'
Native American dollars for their favorite customers....

Banks could order the current issue 1999-2009 Quarters, and can order
the current issue 2007-2016 Presidential dollars, as 'commemorative
issues' from the Federal Reserve, within the particular issue's
specified release period.

Banks could not/cannot order the 2009 Cents, 2009-up Native American
Dollars and the 2010-up Quarters as 'commemorative issues'.

If we're lucky, the Denver Light Rail system will get a distribution
of 2010-D Native American dollars for the change dispensers
(as they did for the 2009's).
