I am a CNC lathe operator at a car parts factory. For what it's worth my dad had a 1969 Charger RT w/ the 440. The closest thing I have owned to a muscle car is a '98 Trans Am w/ the LS1 it was very fun to drive.

Bryan, I see Dodge is using the Bee again on the "Rumble Bee" truck and a Datona version also. I remember those hoods that came off with the 4 pins and then had 4 extensions to hold them up. I never knew anyone who owned one thought, pretty rare.
Yes they are using the same design for the "Rumble Bee" trucks now, they are doing this to boost sales with all the mopar muscle car fanatics since they feel they are older now and may be interested in a truck. They also made a GTX truck which was a limited edition dodge ram truck. The 69 1/2 Super Bee's and RoadRunners are pretty rare indeed, most of them were raced and wrecked early on in life and since it was a half year issue car there wasn't many to begin with Edited to add:here is a link to my Super Bee in the 69 1/2 registry. hope you enjoy the pictures http://regcars.homestead.com/car78.html

Before anyone says it I know the rims are ugly, but they are original, they were sleepers and no frills cars, most didnt even have a radio in them because they were basically made for one thing, and thats to go fast. those ugly rims are the difference between a 60k dollar car and a 100k dollar car because with those rims its 100% original

I am a Master Electrician and Process Control Tech for an oil company based in California. Got started in electrical work at an independant contractor in 1981 working in the oilfields of West Texas. At the moment though, I am a gas plant operator. I am currently sitting in the control room of a Natural Gas treating plant in West Texas just north of the Mexican border, where we work for 7 days straight/12 hrs a day, then we are off for 7 days straight. We take the gas straight off the wells in the field, strip the Co2 and H2S out of the methane and send it (methane) down the mainline to you. It ends up mostly going to California and some to the East Coast also. So some of the gas that you are cooking with or your power plants are burning, came from "my" gas plant. My other job occurs on my days off from the oilfield, which is about 7 months a year counting vacations. I build custom Mesquite furniture. That is a lot of fun. Lumber is not readily available, so I make my own. I harvest the trees with my monster chainsaw, cut and dry the lumber, and end up with gorgeous finished furniture as the end product. Mesquite is a beautiful wood, and almost twice as hard as Oak. As an added bonus, it is one of the most stable woods known to man & I can BBQ with the scraps and cutoffs! As a matter of fact, I have a friend who owns a BBQ place at home in Llano, and he gets the excess that I can't use in my pit.

Nice MOPAR Bryan, that is the same color my was,B5 blue. No stripe around my tail though, Mine also came with the small tires and a small center hubcap. That didn't last long though. I bought some mag wheels and put L60's on the back and the factory tires on the front. It would still burn those L60's down though.Looking at your interior brings back old memories.

when I was driving it I had 50's on the back and 60's on the front I had to put air shocks on it for the 50's because they would just barely rub when you went over a bump, but it sure looked mean, I also had a RamCharger hood for it when I was cruising the BLVD. to make the locals think I had a 383 in it instead of the 440+6 but that didnt last long after a few races the word spreaded pretty quick

Geez, am I the only factory rat here?
23 years working at the same place, Jeld Wen, in the exterior doors division. After work I do the daddy thing to my 6 year old daughter and two sons, twelve and thirteen. Diversions include a bit of coaching baseball and basketball for the short people as well as reading, fishing, biking and hiking although I barely do enough of any of the last three anymore to warrant mention.

Im 15 (although it says 13 on my profile for some reason) and I just got a job at a pet store. I enjoy collecting almost anything with history attached. When I am older I want to be an Archaeologist/Anthropologist. Or mabye a coin Dealer or a University Prof.
