I've got a few, mostly later dates, but I would love to post'em. Hmm, can the overdates be posted on either day or just the primary day?

I think we would really be hard pressed to find an 1816. Though we might be able to find one of those rare ones from China.

I have 1 and it is an 1828. It was an impulse buy from an ancient dealer... I bought some morgans from him (he gets them for me) and before I paid he said... "Hey, you want this for $30?" "$30?!?!?!... Sure I'll take it!" What a fun day that was... It is also my oldest United States coin.

Quote: Oops! Off a day! Since there is no Day 0! Doh! Oh, well! The 2nd of November is now the official end. So there are actually 33 years of CBH, 1807~1839 inclusive

Not for me. The next coin show is the weekend of October 29th. But I will probably be looking for one or two, dated 1835~1839.

Quote: Hmm, can the overdates be posted on either day or just the primary day? I really don't care. This is America. We can do what we want. (And all our other nation friends can also do what they want! Like Braveheart said: "They can't take away our FREEDOM!") Logical discussion follows: Normally the last date stamped is the year of the coin, i.e., 1827 over 6 would be an 1827. But since it was an 1826 BEFORE it was an 1827, post away in either category! (I don't even mind posting it 2 days in a row since it technically fits in either/or/both!)

If this Braveheart guy were living in present day America, he'd be saying something like: "They're taking away our FREEDOM!"
