Hi! Pennylover1010. I'm new to the forum, so for me the rules aren't quite clear in respect to that, so I chose not to go any further than that. I'm not choosing to be evasive just trying to be careful and knew that someone out there, resourceful such as yourself would figure it out and announce it. I will just add that it's is not my baby any-more. The main purpose of my last post was to clarify that fact, and so not to be mistaken for another, while adding some thoughts and tips. I'm grateful and wish them luck, but promoting it further is not my job. It will be interesting to see how far it goes and see how much more my baby grows. I'm preparing myself with an expensive box of tissues, and for comfort. Thanks

Thanks for clearing that up commoncents. Quote: I will just add that it's is not my baby any-more. I understand you may not like to say what you sold it for publicly, but if there is no prohibition would you mind sending me an email? cheers Phil

Pennylovee1010, your curiosity may be innocent but honestly, I don't know you, but in this case doesn't matter. --- Respectfully, to divulge the intimate details of this exchange, whether publicly or by email could amount to the same thing. ---I would not want to be quoted or start rumours. ---I have no intention to discuss any exchange or agreement details with anyone, so don't feel it's just you, it's anybody and that's that! ---This isn't like as on ebay, dealing with any Random Joe. Here, I feel there is a certain unwritten rule and it need not even be said, but an expected confidence from both. Deviating from that, would be considered in bad taste! --- So any figures that are discussed are purely speculative, not fact and surely did not come from me.

Commoncents 13, perhaps it is time to exercise exactly what your name describes. Some common sense... When we chatted on the phone a couple of months back, you were just so full of huge "utopia anticipations". you spoke of very large amounts that you will get for this coin. Lets face reality here. there are not 2 but actually 4, maybe even 5 or 6 of the 54s NSF out there. And who says that there are not a whole bunch somewhere. At least 2, maybe even 3 by now, are held by a private collector of odd coins (who, as far as I know, did contact you and made you a good cash offer, just as I did.... Realistic offers) his offer is probably the best you would ever get. when we spoke, your greed was very evident. But you have chosen to go the route of publicity which you so very obviously and badly need. Lets come back to how many are known to this date (to the best of my knowledge). ONE was certified by ICCS (2009 report), then there is yours by CCCS. that makes it 2 right? Then there are a minimum of two (perhaps 3 by know) privately held. That same collector does in fact know of at least 2 more which are in the US privately held. SO, where do Michaels Finlay's and your numbers come from?

Hey! Hhbkiddo, I thought that you you'd have more commonsense than that. ---Having talked to you was a mistake! What you have effectively done is announce your self as... and obviously can't keep any confidence. All that you are doing is proving my points. ---You might have taken the other road to congratulate me instead. So I will congratulate myself with a fine bottle of Scotch. Cheers!

am not sure you are able yourself to interpret what you wrote. I have not divulged who you are and will not do so. Having talked to me was your greed... and congratulate you... well, there are people I do congratulate sincerely.. BUT they most definitely do not include game players. Remember, YOU opened this can of worms... I suggest you read your own posts.( in more than one forum) good luck with your coin (sincerely)

Well I'm done with this...and said what needs to be said. ---I would like to get back to the topic and to the original and genuine question, before the thread took a turn? ---That is, how did the 1954 (NSF) 5 cent happen? The true history, the story if you will, by someone that knows? ---Or possibly were or who, to direct the question too? Please help! Thank you
