Does anyone know the production numbers for the 2006 ASE "w" uncirculated? I would like to know the totals including the Anniversary sets. I think I will be cancelling my order for gold/silver set also, think I'll keep the silver!

There is no limit I dont think, I think they will just mint and sell as many as they can sell like they do with all the other ASE's

I ended up cancelling my set. Really I just needed the money for something else and used this as a reason to cancel it.

1993-P Eagle 403,625 1994-P Eagle 372,168 1995-P Eagle 395,400
If you price these coins you will see that all are worth over $100. How can the reverse proof be worth less down the road? I'm not cancelling my 3 piece silver sets and can't see why so many others are.
ps
I did cancel gold silver set.
I couldn't agree with you more, and feel that this is another sleeper and could possibly match earlier pieces that have done well. Like everyone will admit, without these special silver coins you will never have a complete set of the ASE.

I kept the order for my personal set. Although I do not care much for the way the mint is doing things, I would still like the set for my collection. At this point I can not justify spending money on extra sets as a potential investment. You know, too many coins, so little money.

I'm with you, I ordered 2 sets so I'll just hang on and see what comes of it. But the Mint is losing credibility with every passing issue. Your dog looks just like mine, best dog I ever had!

Sorry no pictures ...there will be plenty of pictures online today, I imagine. I must say that any doubts that I had when I spent the money... all disapeared last night. The reverse proof coin is well worth the $1,010.oo that we paid for it. darn that's a hot looking coin and it MUST be seen in person ...if you can find one. Pictures will not do it justice. The proof aspects are breathtaking. I only wish I had bought 2 or 3 or 4 ...darn.
PS did anyone see the coin vault last night. They have the set certified already ..MS69/PR69 $7,999.00 and MS70/PR70 I think was $10,999.00. Insanity ...and they sold out of most of their stock before I turned it off!

Anybody know why the silver 20th anniversary sets is still on backorder or has anyone receive the coins yet.
I thought the other 2 sets was going to ship in mid-october, but they came already,
I wonder if they were scared people would cancel their orders of the gold coins and wanted to get those out and are being very patience with the silver coins...

According to the US Mint website, it isn't on backorder. It says they will ship mid-October but it said that for the other two sets as well. Since the Silver Eagle set has the largest volume, they might be shipping the smaller sets first and then finish with the ASE set.

I checked on my order and it's telling me 12-08-06. That's the silver set. Would be nice if it came earlier.
