Thanks all! I've spent the majority of my time trying to complete this set but I have been collecting Mercury dimes and proof sets well.

It surely is a great feeling of satisfaction! I just really love having the feeling I'll be able to pass something great on to my daughter with each coin I collect.

How about "this" one though ! ......
(Remember, there are FIVE different 1998 Kennedy's to collect !)

1998 Philly Uncirculated
1998 Denver Uncirculated
1998 San Fran. Proof
1998 San Fran. Silver Proof
1998 San Fran. Silver Matte Finnish Proof (only available in the two coin set from the Mint)

1998-S Matte Finish John F. Kennedy half Dollar
These came in "Two Coin Sets" from the U.S. Mint.

Because the matte proof Kennedy half dollar was only offered in this two coin set, the coin has an extremely low mintage of about 62,000 coins. The two coin sets were originally priced at $59.95, but today the Kennedy half dollar is valued at several hundred dollars and considered to be one of the key date coins of the series.

Gosh Dang It Eagle! Guess I'll have to do some more shoppin'! This one should go over well with the wife....

Type- I would say I have around 200.00$ into it. Give or take. I tend not keep my coin receipts unless it's something of extreme value.

For these though, I do it for the pure enjoyement and not for the profit.

T That's a big accomplishment! What do you think will be your set? Also how long did it take you to pull that set together?

But them pictures say you don't get done with the set until 2217! Have you been in contact with your future self there?
